Terms & Conditions

Effective 8 August 2026

Please read these terms carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Planwise, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Planwise is a personal planning application that helps users organize tasks, routines, reminders, and related activity. Features may include optional cloud backup, collaboration, on-device task suggestions, and paid premium access. Planwise is a planning aid, not medical, mental-health, financial, legal, or other professional advice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. You are responsible for your device and account security and for activity under your account. Sign in with Apple is optional for core local planning features but may be required for cloud or collaboration features.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not misuse the Service; interfere with its operation or security; reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits; attempt unauthorized access; automate abusive requests; infringe others’ rights; impersonate others; or use collaboration features to share illegal, threatening, harassing, deceptive, or harmful content. We may restrict collaboration or account access to protect users or the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of information you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely as necessary to operate features you choose, such as backup or sharing. You are responsible for your content and must have the right to share it. Content you share with a friend can be viewed by that recipient; avoid sharing sensitive information.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Planwise may offer auto-renewable monthly or annual subscriptions and may offer a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact product, duration, price, currency, trial terms (if any), and included features are displayed on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm.

6. Apple terms

Your license to the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls to the extent required. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Planwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce the terms relating to its platform.

7. License and ownership

Subject to these Terms and the Apple EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Planwise on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. Planwise, its software, design, branding, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party platforms, including Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Vercel. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may issue updates that are needed for continued use, security, or compatibility.

10. Termination

You may stop using Planwise at any time and can delete an eligible cloud account through the in-app controls. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planwise and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Planwise in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or your material breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Planwise is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns informally.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to hello@planwise.today.
